Digned originally for the hostile environment of Transit applications, CIR has earned acceptance in Military,
Commercial, Medical, Geophysical, Entertainment, Nuclear, Aerospace. Ground support and comparable areas
requiring nearly non-dtruible cable or wire terminations.
The elerical dign parameters of CIR were based on MIL-C-5015. However, its unique positive lock, quick
disconne coupling surp the environmental requirements of this military specification. The CIR dign
has been adopted by NATO as the “standard conneor for Ground Fighting Vehicl” and is used extensively
inU.S. and European military programs: Based on standard VG 95234.
High voltage
The BIW High Voltage Cable ely is a four-conduor high voltage cable ely digned for heavy-duty applications in systems that require operation at up to 10 KVDC. The conneor is also ideal for systems that have high operating temperatur. The silicone inserts and silicone cabl allow the conneors to funion at operating temperatur up to 300°F.
