1. Product overview

This telescope is featured with high image resolution, easy operation, solid structure, and beautiful overall appearance. It is regarded as the choice forastronomy s. Please read this instruction carefully before you start to use the instrument so that you can get a good understanding of its installation, operation and maintenance.

3. Installation

Take out the tripod, set the height as required and lock the tripod legs. Fit the accessory tray to the tripod and turn the tray to lock (see figure). Connect the main instrumentbodyto the tripod and tighten the screw. Add the finder scope, reflector and eyepiece to the main instrument body.

If you wish to use the Barlow lens with 2x magnification power, for the convenience of observation, you can add the reflector between the eyepiece and the Barlow lens.

Adjustment of the finder scope:aim the main instrument at a distant target, then adjust the three screws of the finder scope until the image is in the centre of the finder scope’s view.

4. Use of the telescope

Find a target using the finder scope. Adjust the direction and angle/tilt of the telescope as necessary. Fasten the adjustment wheel after the target is located.

Observe the target according to its orientation as identified through the finder scope. Locate the target in the field of view, and then adjust the focus wheel of the eyepiece until the image is clear.

Please note that the image displayed in the finder scope is inverted up-down and left-right, while the image seen in the eyepiece of the telescope is inverted between left and right only.

5. Maintenance and store

This is a precision piece of optical instrument, so please handle it with great care. Avoid exposing the instrument to shock or vibration. Always replace the lens cap after use. Do not leave the instrument in places where the temperature is either too high or too low; or with high moisture, or with the presence of chemical substances.

Use lens cleaning cloth or a soft brush to clean the lenses if necessary, but do not touch the lens with fingers. Do not try to open the main instrument body for inspection or maintenance, which should be carried out by experienced specialists.
