本機按照 UL 標準要求測試電線電纜緣體或被覆的火情形。試法是 將試樣固定于本機不受吹動之火焰，燃燒 15 秒，熄滅 15 秒，反復 5 次，試驗后取下試樣檢視試樣被焚率。本機可設定燃燒時間、間歇時間及次數(shù)并自動運行。
This machine is to perform fire-protecting of insulator or sheathing。Tt method is that fix the specimen to the position at which the tip of the tt flame without any affects by breeze as well，and keep it there for 15 seconds，then removed it for 15 seconds。To repeat the above actions for five tim observ the burn-rate of the specimen。The tter able to be set for tt interval and tim of the flame，and operated automatically。
