使用康寧SM標準光纖，250um裸光纖取紅、黃、橙、藍、綠色及棕色涂敷層裸光纖，參數(shù)取各種顏色涂敷層的平均值，900um和3mm取白色和黃色標準
跳線。如果裸光纖涂敷層為黑色，光衰減很大或不能測量。
AFI420-S輸出功率>1mW線路衰減小時可在5KM處看見紅色激光,AFI420-L輸出功率>10mW線路衰減小時可在10KM處看見紅色激光。
